Block A Poorly Conserved (AR & SG). There is a 42 aa region centered at the standard RecA-a splice junction that lacks similarity to both RecA and the intein N-terminus suggesting an inactive intein or an incorrect sequence (FP). The remainder of the intein is 100% ID to the Mtu-H37Rv intein (FP). |
