Comments The Bde-JEL423 RPC2 and Bde-JEL197 RPB2 local insertion site sequences are very similar, as are the intein sequences. However, the remainder of the exteins are not similar. Therefore, it looks like intein alleles have been recently transferred to non-allelic exteins. Insertion site listed for partial extein sequence. Insertion site at equivalent position of V522 in Sce RPB2 CAA99357.
